Costs
Exchange students: those students that will participate in one of Tecnológico de Monterrey's programs by applying through an existing exchange agreement between the student's home university and Tecnológico de Monterrey. The student is required to pay tuition to his/her home university.
Independent students: those that will participate in one of Tecnológico de Monterrey's programs by applying directly to Tecnológico de Monterrey. The student is required to pay tuition to Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Tecnologico de Monterrey generates its final costs on a semester basis, so the prices here presented are close estimates of the final price. Please ask for current prices when you apply for admission or wait to receive the final list of prices on your acceptance package. In either case the differences between these estimated costs and the final ones should be minimal.

Prices given in US Dollars are for reference purposes only and do not represent the actual cost since variations on the exchange rate happen every day. Tecnológico de Monterrey will only charge tuition and any other fees or services in Mexican pesos, even though the payment can be made in US Dollars at the exchange rate of the day of payment.

The exchange rate considered for the prices presented in US Dollars was $11.50 pesos per dollar (April, 2011).
Above Costs include the following:
- Activity fee
- Housing with a Mexican host family in a double room for the complete semester. Includes 3 meals a day.
- Shuttle transportation to campus facilities
- Airport pick up on the official arrival date
- 6 courses (18 credits), or 4 courses (3 credits each) and 1 Spanish class (6 credits)
- During the summer students can take 1 Spanish course (6 credits), or 2 non-Spanish (3 credits each)
- Cuernavaca Downtown Tour: Students will explore the historic main square.
- Welcome and closing receptions
- Physician (medical attention) service available for minor needs
- Access to Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Cuernavaca´s facilities: Computer center and wireless internet connection available, library, gymnasium, volleyball, basketball, soccer and tennis courts.
- Opportunities to participate in social activities and community service.
